Hit & Miss

I have been home for a week and haven't worked out once.  Well, unless you count a little bike ride we went on.  But it was little.  It's so much harder to go workout when I'm not at home.  I hate to leave the kids.  But running here is one of my favorite things in the entire world!!  But, I'm not really up for running.  I haven't ran for a LONG time and being a couple months pregnant isn't the time to get back into it.  I crave it though.  I am always looking at my surrounding and wishing I had my running shoes on and could take off!  Plus, the weather is great right now.  70's expected this week!!!  YAY!  And by the time I get back to Missouri it's going to be MISERABLY hot!  Can you tell that I have a million desires and excuses rolling around my head?

Well, I haven't thrown in the towel.  I'm convinced that I'm going to workout throughout this pregnancy.  I'm going to have to find modified yoga workouts and change a little of what I do but if I keep at it, I will be able to be active the whole time.  I don't want to put on a ton of weight {with 4 kids, I've NEVER only gained the maximum recommended weight... always more} and I want to get in shape quicker afterward. 

It's not going to be easy though.  3 more weeks of vacation in Idaho.  Then a road trip back to Missouri.  July will be filled with packing for a move in August.  But hopefully I'll still be able to get in some good workouts!!  I'm going to say "SORRY" in advance for disappearing off and on again.  That's the nature of the beast and priorities.  Rest assured I am still studying for the personal trainer exam and trying to get in some good workouts!  I'll be sure to stop in now and then to report!
